The Story
As evening settles over Thekkady, the Fountain Plaza comes alive. The Musical Fountain is a half-hour spectacle where hundreds of water jets leap, swirl and sway in perfect choreography with music — from sweeping film melodies to the rhythms of Kerala — all painted in a mesmerizing canvas of colored light.
Find a seat (or stand at the rail with the children) and watch as the water becomes the dancer: tall plumes that pierce the night, gentle fans that catch the light, and swirling patterns that move as one living organism with the score. Two shows run every evening — 7:00–7:30 PM and 8:00–8:30 PM — making it the perfect peaceful finale to your day at Elephant Camp.
